Father/Son Campout

This past Friday was our Stake Father and Son Campout! Brandon took Reed, here he is in front of the tent! once they got to the right campgrounds (last minute changes)

Too bad he kept dad up all night with the tossing and turning!

Reed had fun playing in the dirt and of course, the smores.

Swingset

Brandon got plans off the internet for 25 bucks, bought all the wood, cut it to size, routed, sanded, etc.

The big day! trying to get the frame of the fort centered and level! took a few hours.

The slide is up and reed's not waiting!

When it's all said and done, your kids are worth the time, effort, and MONEY! plus we can swing too thanks to daddy springing for heavy duty bolts, hooks, swings, etc! Fun for the whole family.

Easter Fun!

Reed's "Incredible" 3rd Birthday

Reed has been obsessed with The Incredibles since we first bought the movie, so naturally he wanted a "Mr. Incredible Party". This was the ONLY Incredibles cake we could find at a Smith's bakery out in WVC, but worth it.


Reed and all his party guests wearing their Incredibles masks; the only party favor we could find with The Incredibles. They are also wearing the Incredibles T-shirts that Brandon MADE as party favors, let's hear it for T-shirt transfer paper!! and a devoted father :0)

Daniel couldn't be left out of all the fun!

Reed loved all his presents including a BYU hooded towel (shown), super hero reversible cape, and a teepee! The party was a blast and FYI: 90 minutes is PERFECT for 3 year olds! plus make sure there's enough pizza, cake, and ice cream to hold out :0)

Reed's First Trip to the Zoo

This is Reed and checking out all the animals in their homes, he loved watching the little scurrying ones.

Probably his favorite part of the whole zoo was the big black water fountain right inside the front door; Kids!

Our First Home

We moved into our first home in November of 2005. It is 3 bedroom, 2 full bath, and of course meets Brandon's requirements of flat driveway for basketball and it even came with a hoop. We have done so much to this house inside and out it's not even funny. Basically everything from ceiling to floor (literally) in EVERY room except the master bedroom and laundry room; a lot of stuff. I'll try to put up pictures of all that as I find time and rechargeable batteries that work!
Brandon also built Reed a swing set including a fort with slide in the backyard. Anyone who owns their own home knows the joys and especially the sorrows of the experience!

Aren't these boys adorable!! Reed is 3 years old as of January 20th this year and Daniel will be 1 year old on July 22nd! Can't believe how fast they are both growing. Reed is a great older brother (most of the time) and Daniel is just the sweetest little thing; couldn't ask for a better baby! If only he hadn't discovered the stairs and that he can go up them. This is the most recent picture I have of our boys, only about a month or so old. It's like the bib says: If you think I'm (we're) cute you should see my daddy :0)

Hello Everybody!
This is my first official blog entry!! to be followed by many many more along with family photos, etc to keep anyone who cares up to date on what's happening with the Broschinsky family! I finally decided to get a blog and join the rest of the technologically inclined world, but I still refuse to do myspace! although I do have facebook; so life's a trade off sometimes. Thanks to Trish, and all the others who kept asking me if I had a blog and telling me I should start one, this is for you guys! remember, YOU asked for it :0)
