Birthday wishes

At the end of the day, after co-oping in the pre school class with Curious George cupcakes, hosting a Go Diego Go! Jungle Safari party complete with pizza, cake, Pin the Badge on Diego, and a jungle safari through the house, the best part of a birthday, other than family and friends, is watching your precious little angel with sparkles in his eyes blow out his birthday candles and make a wish... and you hope and pray that they all will come true.

Go Diego Go! Jungle Safari 4th Birthday Party!

Miss Aubree wearing the palm tree balloon as a very stylish necklace. A beautiful smile from Miss Emily in the background as well.

The poster on the wall was for the "Pin the Badge on Diego" party game. Just an FYI I traced him using an overhead projector, NOT that artistically talented, I wish!

Reed opening his birthday gifts, thank you so much to everybody!!

Birthday boy posing for a picture in his birthday crown.

Some of the party friends enjoying their pizza and soda, there were 8 friends total and trust me! that is more than enough for a 4 year old's party!!!

Reed's Birthday cakes

This is the Diego face cake I made for the family to share. Thank you to my mother in law for lending me the food dye and all the tips and bags.

Brandon did the leaf edge around the base.

This is the jungle safari Diego cake I made for Reed's party with his friends.

I love cake decorating gels, they made the patch in the corner, the toys were from Reed's room! Ingenuity major, cost minor; well about the same as buying a cake but it's the thought right?!

Playdough Fun!

Reed going crazy with Grandma's silverware.. shh!!! don't tell.

Daniel discovering that you can shove it into other things...fun!

Silly Reed...play dough is for kids.

What exactly is this stuff? I wonder what it tastes like.

Good ol' Reed...always ready for a "cheese" picture.

Mean Green Machine

Daniel man wearing a crazy wig at Grandma's house.

Isn't he precious?!

At least this time whatever it is is going in his ear and not his nose!

Deep Fried Thanksgiving!

Reed was so excited to try it...and it is delicious!

Here is our beautiful, slightly overdone deep fried turkey!

The men hard at work.

It smelled really weird while cooking, like the world's largest french fry fryer or something.

The hubby getting it all started.

Skiing!!!

Check me out! We went night skiing and I did really good, only fell four times, and two were intentionally; not bad for a first-timer!

Me and the hubs on the lift, he convinced me to get off the bunny hill for my last run!

It was very cold and we were actually skiing blind for a while because the snow got in our eyes, very scary when you still don't quite know what you're doing. And of course it took hours to get home because we had to wait for the snow plow, no fun. late night but totally worth it!!

Sledding Fun!

This is Reed giving mom a hand down the hill on our last run before leaving to head home

Reed after going down by himself! wasn't even scared.

Daniel and mom after going down the hill together.

Reed of course wanted to play on the playground too...kids.

Daniel had fun but got cold really fast.

Reed's Pre school Christmas show

I can't remember what song they are singing right now, but he did a god job on all of them.

Then they all showed off the songs they have learned all year.

They danced around the room to a Christmas song ringing jingle bells.

They started the show with all the kids in his class "riding" in on a sleigh that they all helped to paint, Reed is the only one wearing the Santa hat.

Fighting Fun

This is what the boys do while Mom cooks dinner...play!

Reed and Dad having a pillow fight so of
course lil' brother Daniel has to join in!

He even tries to take out the photographer!

Poor Dad, he never stood a chance.
